Slick browser

I have tried several different browsers (chrome, Mercury, Safari) for iOS and have this to say about Apollo. It is noticeably smoother when loading and surfing pretty much every website I visit. Does a good job of blocking pop-ups, as well as almost never opens the App Store unprompted whilst surfing. No crashes to speak of, and I love the minimalistic layout. Everything is easy to access, and contrary to one review in particular, it is entirely possible to open links in new windows/tabs. Great browser, worth the download if you want something fast and simple.

Constantly crashes

I used it for about a week. Its a good browser when it works, but it crashes all the time while surfing. If they could fix that one problem it would be great.

Worst browser Ive ever used.

Awful bookmark support. Featureless browser. Just pathetic.

Features lacking

Has no "History". Also, holding finger on back arrow does not produce a list of sites, you have to go back one screen at a time. I see from another review that it does not remember passwords. I can not see any reason to use it rather than Chrome.

Not a bad browser

I use this as a backup to my google and safari, so far no problems. Is pretty stable no crashes yet. So far so good.

??????

highly recommend

So so performance

The ad block feature doesnt work with certain sites like CNET. They refuse video delivery with an ad blocked browser. CNN video seems to work with the browser. I understand the need for ad enhanced delivery but these 30 second ads for every video is extreme and makes me hate the product that the ad is pushing and makes me search out ad blocking extensions. The app crashes much too frequently. The developer needs to look into the reasons for it.

Adblock doesnt work well

Downloaded for the ad blocking abilities which didnt stop page redirects

Thank you!

All i wanted was a browser that doesnt crash, so far so good with this app. No issues or bugs to report. supports video perfectly. cheers

Update this

This thing is 2 years out of date -- it needs updating. It needs to be able to connect to Dropbox

Dont even spend you time.

Its junk.

Not interactive

Cant use google login nor FB login. Cant sync with other browsers. Deleted right away

Firefox SyncBroken

It advertises FireFox bookmark sync, but makes you sign in to Google when you try to set it up. Either the button is broken, or they dont know the difference between Google and Mozilla.

Doesnt work!

This is just another browser that has no ad blocking whatsoever!

Have Apple 5 iPHONE - Downloads Instead of Fast Load?

Wont work & shows me previews and bits of the page - type info & it flashes DOWNLOADING! DOWNLOADING. So I hit DELETE APP!

Awfully painful app

I had high hopes, but same as the previous review, re: the fake google, I agree. Also, I couldnt even log into"Google" with their misspelled "Chome" app - I tried 3 different accounts, all said "admin rights locked, need Google apps account" - so I deleted the app, cleared my iPhones App Store Cache to get rid of any virus, changed all of my passwords for my google accounts, and wrote this review. This is almost positively a "Front App" made by the Chinese via government funding, thats only intention is to act as iMalware - change your passwords if you downloaded, Dont download if you didnt already. - - - credentials: work for U.S. Dept of Homeland Security as an analyst, and remove these ALL day. This one is already on the possible list - the items on this list almost always make it to the "malicious" list. ~W

Better than Safari

Apollo is your salvation on iPhone 4s with iOS 8 or 9, where everything is slooow and crashes regullary. While a bit outdated, Apollo works much faster and blocks most of irritating ads.

Uploading

The site crashes often and the uploading is very slow. Please repair these key problems.

Great for free app!

Even has gesture support so you can go back by swiping two fingers. Oddly Safari doesnt even have this touch friendly feature. I use this and Mercury that paid for years ago but its ad blocking hasnt been updated so they slip through. THIS however kills every ad and keeps pages quite readable. Even has font size adjustments! Pretty darn nice.
